Blood tests to track how prostate cancer responds to radioactive treatment

This trial is testing whether simple blood tests can help doctors better understand and track how well Pluvicto (a radioactive treatment for advanced prostate cancer) is working in individual patients. Researchers will collect blood samples before, during, and after treatment to look for cancer cells or cancer DNA in the blood. This information may help predict which patients will respond well to the treatment and identify why some patients' cancer eventually becomes resistant to it.

Many patients initially respond well to this medication, but their cancer often starts growing again fairly quickly. Doctors don't fully understand why this happens or how to predict it in advance. This study hopes that blood tests can provide early warning signs and help explain the resistance mechanisms, so future patients can be treated more effectively.
