Better cervical cancer screening for women with HIV in Cameroon

This trial is testing a new approach to cervical cancer screening for women living with HIV in Cameroon. Instead of requiring multiple clinic visits to screen for and treat cervical cancer, researchers are comparing a single-visit approach (where screening and treatment happen on the same day) with a flexible two-visit approach that lets you choose what works best for your life. The goal is to prevent more cases of cervical cancer by making screening easier and more likely to be completed.

Cervical cancer is a major cause of death for women with HIV in resource-limited countries, and most cases can be prevented through screening and early treatment. However, women often don't complete screening when it requires multiple visits to the clinic. This trial wants to find out if doing screening and treatment in one visit—or giving women the choice between one or two visits—can help more women get screened and treated successfully.
