This study doesn't follow the usual testing phases โ it may be an observational study or a different type of research.
Doctors need reliable ways to help patients breathe safely during medical procedures. This study is testing three different airway devices โ the LMA Supreme, the I-gel, and the GMA-Tulip โ to see how they fit and work when placed in the throat during a CT scan under anesthesia. The researchers will use CT imaging to closely examine how each device positions itself.
Different airway devices work differently for different patients, and doctors want to understand which device provides the best fit and positioning during CT procedures. This information could help improve patient safety and comfort during imaging scans.

You will fast before your procedure as instructed. On the day of your CT scan, you'll receive standard anesthesia through an IV, and then one of the three airway devices will be carefully placed in your throat by an experienced anesthesiologist. While you're asleep, CT imaging will be performed to evaluate how the device is positioned. The entire study takes place during your scheduled CT procedure, which occurs between September and December 2025.
