Understanding weight and health: A patient registry study

This research study is building a registry—a collected database of health information—from people living with overweight and obesity. Researchers want to understand how weight affects your symptoms, quality of life, and overall health costs. They're also talking with healthcare providers to get their perspective, so they can create better tools to measure severity and plan earlier interventions.

Right now, most research focuses on people with severe obesity or those taking weight-loss medications, leaving people with overweight and mild obesity underrepresented. This study exists to fill that gap by understanding the full range of how weight affects people's physical and emotional well-being, so doctors can identify and help patients earlier.
