Registry study of children and adults with relapsed brain tumor

This is a registry study — essentially a research database — that gathers medical information and tumor tissue samples from children and young adults (ages 3–50) who have been diagnosed with a specific type of brain tumor called medulloblastoma that has come back after treatment or has not responded to treatment. Researchers want to collect detailed information about these patients' medical histories, imaging scans, and tumor samples to better understand why some tumors stop responding to treatment and to look for patterns that might help guide future care.

Medulloblastoma is a serious childhood cancer, and unfortunately some patients experience their tumor returning or not responding to initial treatment. By gathering comprehensive information from many patients in one place, researchers hope to identify new clues about which patients are at highest risk and what might help guide better treatment decisions in the future.
