Testing a medication to prevent blood cancer from returning after transplant or cell therapy

This trial is testing whether a medication called asciminib can help prevent a type of blood cancer called Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia from coming back after you've had a stem cell transplant or CAR T cell therapy. Researchers want to learn if this medication is safe to take as a maintenance treatment (meaning you keep taking it to stay in remission) and what the right dose should be. The study includes two groups: one made up of people who received a stem cell transplant and another of people who received CAR T cell therapy.

Even after successful treatment with a stem cell transplant or CAR T cell therapy, this type of blood cancer can sometimes return. This medication may help prevent that relapse by keeping cancer cells under control after your main treatment is finished.
