How exercise ability changes when cystic fibrosis patients take new combination therapy

This research study is looking at how a newer cystic fibrosis medication called Elexacaftor-Tezacaftor-Ivacaftor affects the ability to exercise and breathe during physical activity. The medication has already been shown to improve lung function and quality of life in people with CF. This study wants to understand whether the medication also helps people exercise better and breathing more comfortably during activities like walking.

While this medication has greatly improved lung health and reduced serious CF flare-ups, doctors don't yet fully understand how it affects exercise capacity and whether people can breathe more easily when they're physically active. This study will help fill that gap in understanding.
