Tracking a blood vessel procedure for knee arthritis relief

This study is collecting real-world information about genicular artery embolization (GAE), a minimally invasive procedure that blocks tiny blood vessels around the knee to reduce arthritis pain. Researchers want to understand whether this treatment leads to lasting pain relief and improved quality of life for people with knee arthritis that hasn't responded to other treatments like physical therapy or injections.

Many people with knee arthritis don't get enough relief from medications, injections, or physical therapy alone, and surgery isn't right for everyone. This study exists to learn whether this newer, less invasive procedure could be a good option for these patients and to figure out which patients are most likely to benefit.
