Testing a new bleeding prevention medication for hemophilia A

This trial is testing whether a new medication called NXT007 works better than emicizumab—a medication already used to prevent bleeding episodes in hemophilia A patients. Both are given as regular preventive treatments (called prophylaxis) rather than waiting for bleeds to happen. The study will measure how well each medication prevents bleeds, how safe it is, and how your body processes it.

Hemophilia A makes blood clotting difficult, which can lead to serious and painful bleeds. While emicizumab has helped many patients, researchers want to see if this new treatment might work even better or offer other advantages for preventing bleeds.
