This study doesn't follow the usual testing phases — it may be an observational study or a different type of research.
This study is testing whether a simple, creative activity—mandala coloring—can help women who are hospitalized after experiencing a missed abortion (a pregnancy loss that goes undetected). Researchers want to see if spending 30 minutes coloring intricate mandala patterns can reduce stress, anxiety, and pain, and also help stabilize physical signs like heart rate and blood pressure. Half the women will color mandalas along with receiving their regular hospital care, while the other half will receive standard care alone.
Experiencing a missed abortion is emotionally and physically difficult, often causing increased anxiety, stress, and pain. Doctors are looking for simple, affordable, non-medication ways to help women feel calmer and more comfortable during hospitalization—and this treatment may offer that support.

If you join this study, you'll be randomly assigned to either the coloring group or the standard care group. If you're in the coloring group, you'll spend at least 30 minutes coloring mandala patterns during your hospital stay, in addition to your regular care. Both groups will have their stress, anxiety, pain, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen level, and temperature measured when you arrive at the hospital and again right after the activity ends (or at the same time for the control group).
