This study doesn't follow the usual testing phases — it may be an observational study or a different type of research.
This trial tests two different online training programs for people who have had a mild traumatic brain injury (concussion) and struggle with emotional awareness or emotional regulation. One program teaches you how to better recognize, name, and express your emotions with more clarity. The other program focuses on overall wellbeing and healthy living with brain injury. Researchers want to find out which approach works better at improving emotional health and quality of life.
Many people who have had a mild brain injury experience difficulty understanding and managing their emotions, which can get in the way of recovery and daily life. This trial exists to find out which type of online training works best to help people regain emotional control and improve their overall wellbeing.

You will participate entirely online from home over approximately 8 months. You'll attend 4 assessment visits (30–90 minutes each) where you'll complete surveys about your emotional health—before training starts, right after it ends, and then 3 and 6 months later. Between assessments, you'll have 8 one-on-one training sessions (60–90 minutes each) spread over about 1 month with a trainer via secure video call. All sessions are remote, and the training focuses on either emotional awareness skills or general wellbeing strategies, depending on which program you're assigned to.
