Better village doctor care for older adults with irregular heartbeat and heart weakness

This trial is testing a new way for village doctors to care for older adults who have both atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) and heart failure (when the heart doesn't pump well). Instead of standard care, your village doctor would receive special training to monitor you closely, review your medications, and help you manage both conditions together using proven guidelines.

Many older people in rural China have both irregular heartbeat and heart failure at the same time, which makes each condition worse. Village doctors often don't have enough training or specialist support to give these patients the best care, so this study is testing whether better training and more frequent check-ins can improve their health.
