Predicting breathing problems during surgery in people with obesity

This research is studying how to better predict which patients may have trouble with their breathing during surgery — especially people with obesity. The study uses a screening questionnaire called STOP-Bang along with physical airway assessments to see if doctors can identify breathing difficulties before surgery happens. The goal is to help anesthesiologists prepare better and keep patients safer during their operations.
