Heart rhythm treatment with a new ablation device and heart clot preventer

This trial evaluates whether using two devices together in a single procedure is safe and works well for people with atrial fibrillation (a common irregular heartbeat). The first device, called the Volt Pulsed Field Ablation System, treats the irregular heartbeat by using energy to correct the heart's rhythm. The second device, the Amulet 2 Left Atrial Appendage Occluder, is a small implant that seals off a pouch in the heart to prevent blood clots.

Many people with atrial fibrillation need both rhythm correction and blood clot prevention, but these have traditionally required separate procedures or prolonged medication use. This trial tests whether doing both treatments at once—in a single procedure—is safer, easier, and more effective for patients.
