Long-term real-world outcomes for people with severe bowel inflammation

This study is watching how guselkumab performs in real-world conditions for people with moderate-to-severe Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Rather than conducting a controlled experiment, researchers will collect information from your regular medical care and doctor's notes to understand how well and how long this medication helps control these inflammatory bowel conditions.

While clinical trials test medications in controlled settings, doctors and researchers need to understand how treatments work in everyday practice—for different people, in different situations, over longer periods of time. This study fills that gap by observing how this medication performs outside the research lab.
