Comparing Two New Pacemaker Approaches and Their Heart Effects

This trial compares two newer ways of placing pacemakers in patients who need them. Traditional pacemakers can sometimes weaken the heart muscle over time, so doctors are testing two newer approaches—one that uses a leadless device and one that places the pacemaker in a different part of the heart—to see if they work better and cause fewer problems with heart and valve function.

Standard pacemakers can sometimes damage the heart muscle and cause valve problems over time. This trial exists to find out whether these two newer pacemaker approaches might be safer alternatives that protect your heart better.
