Online parent training for young children with autism or communication delays

This trial is testing OPT-In-Early, an online program that teaches parents of young children with autism or communication delays how to support their child's social skills, communication, and behavior at home. The program uses videos, text, and narration to teach parents practical strategies they can use every day. The study will compare families who receive immediate access to this program with families who continue with their usual care.

Many families struggle to access autism services because of long waitlists, high costs, travel distance, and delays in getting a diagnosis. This trial exists to see whether a self-directed online parent-training program can help families get evidence-based support sooner, without waiting for traditional service pathways.
