Intensive two-week trauma treatment for PTSD

This study is testing whether an intensive two-week outpatient trauma treatment program can help people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The treatment takes place at two clinics in Oslo and involves concentrated therapy sessions over just two weeks. Researchers will measure how much your PTSD symptoms improve and how your quality of life changes after the treatment.

Many people with PTSD struggle to get better with standard care, and some struggle because of their background or other personal circumstances. This study wants to understand whether concentrating treatment into two intense weeks works well, and whether it helps different groups of people — especially men, people from minority backgrounds, and those who haven't benefited from other treatments.
