You would first undergo MRI brain imaging so researchers can identify the best location on your scalp for stimulation. Over three weeks, you would participate in intensive rehabilitation โ one hour of therapy twice daily (30 hours total) โ focused on walking and balance, hand and arm control, and speech. During one of your daily therapy sessions, you would receive either real or sham (fake) brain stimulation for 20 minutes. You would be assessed before treatment starts, right after it ends, and again at 3 and 6 months to measure changes in your balance, coordination, and ability to function in daily life.
