How shoulder surgery affects pain and function in adults with birth nerve injury

Brachial plexus birth palsy is a nerve injury that happens at birth and can affect arm movement and strength. Many people have shoulder surgery during childhood to improve function. This study wants to understand how well that surgery works in adulthood by measuring pain levels, how well your arm works, and how you feel about your appearance.

We know that this surgery helps children, but we don't have enough information about how people do years later as adults. This study will help doctors understand the long-term results of the treatment and identify which patients benefit most.
