Testing a team approach to cure hepatitis C in supportive housing

This trial is testing a new way to deliver hepatitis C treatment called direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) to people living in permanent supportive housing in Seattle. Instead of the usual care process, a team made up of a pharmacist, physician, and patient navigator work together to make the medication easier to access and take. The study wants to see if this team approach helps more people get treated and cured of hepatitis C.

Many people with hepatitis C who face housing insecurity struggle to access or complete treatment because of barriers like complex medical systems and lack of coordinated care. This trial exists to test whether a simpler, team-based approach can remove those barriers and help more people get cured.
