Right now, there's no proven treatment that can reliably improve memory and thinking problems in dementia. Many people with dementia struggle with everyday tasks because of memory loss, which also places a heavy burden on family caregivers. Researchers believe that by timing brain stimulation to match how your brain naturally works, they might be able to strengthen the brain networks involved in memory.
