Intensive arm and leg therapy to improve balance after stroke

This trial is testing a rehabilitation approach called HABIT-ILE (Hand-Arm Bimanual Intensive Training Including Lower Limb Extremity) for stroke survivors. HABIT-ILE focuses on intensive, repetitive practice of coordinated movements using both arms and legs together during meaningful activities. The study wants to see whether this treatment helps people regain better balance, coordination, and independence in daily life compared to standard physical therapy.

Stroke often leaves people with weakness, poor balance, and coordination problems that make everyday activities difficult. This trial exists to find out whether the new intensive therapy approach can help stroke survivors recover better function and reduce their fall risk compared to traditional physical therapy alone.
