Testing new medications to prevent eye melanoma from returning

This is a research study for people with uveal melanoma—a type of eye cancer—who have recently finished their primary treatment and are at high risk of the cancer returning. The trial tests whether taking darovasertib and crizotinib together can help prevent the cancer from coming back or spreading. Half of the participants will receive this medication combination, while the other half will receive standard follow-up care without these medications, so researchers can compare how well the treatment works.

Uveal melanoma can come back or spread to other parts of the body even after successful initial treatment, and there are currently no standard medications proven to reduce this risk. This study aims to find out whether this medication combination can help prevent recurrence and improve survival in high-risk patients.
