How well new biologic treatments work for severe lung disease in real life

This is a real-world study that follows adults with severe asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who are starting treatment with one of six biologic medications—including omalizumab, mepolizumab, benralizumab, dupilumab, tezepelumab, or depemokimab. Researchers want to track how well the medication works and how safe it is for you over at least one year of treatment.

Many patients with severe asthma or COPD don't respond well enough to standard inhalers and are stuck taking oral steroids, which can cause serious side effects like bone loss and increased infections. This study will show whether these newer biologic treatments actually help people breathe better and live better in real-world conditions, not just in controlled clinical trials.
