Testing a new hip implant design in Asian patients

This trial is studying how well a newer hip implant called the Actis stem works when used in hip replacement surgery. The Actis stem is a cementless implant (meaning it doesn't require bone cement to hold it in place) that is designed to integrate well with your bone and reduce stress on surrounding bone. Researchers want to see how this implant performs in Asian patients, since most previous studies have been done in Western populations.

While this implant has shown good results in Europe and North America, doctors want to learn whether it works equally well in Asian patients, who often have hip problems at younger ages and for different reasons than Western patients. This study will help surgeons understand if this is a good option for their patients.
