Pregnancy safety study of a multiple sclerosis medication

This is a pregnancy registry — a database that collects information about pregnancy outcomes in women with multiple sclerosis. Researchers are studying the safety of Diroximel Fumarate (a medication used to treat MS) when women are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. By comparing pregnancy outcomes in women who took this medication with those who took other MS medications or no medication at all, doctors hope to better understand whether the medication is safe during pregnancy.

Many women with multiple sclerosis want to have children but worry about how their MS medications might affect their pregnancy or baby. There is limited information available about the safety of this particular medication during pregnancy, so this registry was created to gather real-world experiences from pregnant women with MS to help future patients and their doctors make informed treatment decisions.
